What Is Liberty?

All nations are founded upon
their own, chosen, philosophical principle

Philosophy, as "a particular system of principles for the conduct of life," [1] is necessary to living life in this world, and it is spiritually enhanced when one embraces the Theology of Creator God!

Because:

Man is a Being of Volitional Consciousness. [2]

And:

In choosing to use his consciousness, Individual Man must formulate a foundation from which to direct the action of that consciousness.

Under what foundational philosophy will the Individual Inhabitants of one Nation choose to live?

There are only two basic opposing philosophies operating in the world:

Liberty

&

Tyranny

Like Goldilocks' discovery, only ONE philosophy is "JUST-RIGHT."

This is true because there is One God Who created the Universe and all that is herein!

All of the Universe operates within Absolutes that comprise the Laws of Creator God.

Those Laws are immutable and eternal. Attempting to live outside them is to live in sin and rebellion.

Therefore:

ONE philosophical system approaches conformity to
God's Laws.

No other system is "JUST-RIGHT."

Our American Republic is founded upon
the philosophical principle:

". . . that all men are created equal, that they are endowed by their Creator with certain unalienable Rights,that among these are Life, Liberty and the pursuit of Happiness [Property]." [Declaration of Independence]

True Liberty IS a Right, but it isn't JUST a Right!

Liberty is primarily a

GOD-CREATED STATE-OF-BEING!

AS SUCH, Liberty is the Fountainhead from which the philosophical Foundation of Our Republic under God, springs. Therefore, Liberty is also the Fountainhead from whence flow ALL unalienable God-given Rights! From Liberty are derived "Dynamic Attributes;" most important of which are:

• • Life and ALL it entails,
• • Volitional Consciousness as the act of using free will, [2]
• • Freedom to Choose to ACT: to succeed or fail,
• • Pursuing the Happiness that accompanies earning & holding Private Property.

These are God-given Attributes. We are either unchained in Liberty, as the Foundation of a Free Nation under God:

"We hold these truths to be self-evident, that all men are created equal, that they are endowed by their Creator with certain unalienable rights, that among these are Life, Liberty and the pursuit of Happiness. That to secure these rights, Governments are instituted among Men, deriving their just powers from the consent of the governed." [Declaration of Independence]

Or,

shackled and oppressed, (with Liberty bound, at the point of the governmental gun) in the Collectivist Foundation of a Totalitarian State dedicated to corruption and decay, now, with the Tyrants disguised by the façade of "Technocracy!" [3] "Collectivism holds that the individual has no rights, that his life and work belong to the group . . . and that the group may sacrifice him at its own whim to its own interests. The only way to implement a doctrine of that kind is by means of brute force--and statism has always been the political corollary of collectivism." [4]

Liberty actively preserves the God-given Rights of the Individual, which demand limitations on the interactions between individuals, protecting each from one another AND from malignant governance by Tyrants; by the Rule of Law, [5] NOT the Rule of Men, to PROTECT the Minority FROM the Majority, AND from tyrannical government!

"The smallest minority on earth is the individual. Those who deny individual rights cannot claim to be defenders of minorities." [6]

Our limited government presupposes a laissez faire ["hands-off"] capitalistic economic system, in which, government acts only as the defender of individual rights against unethical, immoral practices in the business world, and guarantees to All the Liberty to exercise Freedom in living one's Life, and pursuing Happiness, which represents the Right to earn and hold Private Property.

Liberty is about

Individuals!

Not some imagined "Collective," or, "Technocracy," populated by drones and workers taken-care-of and controlled by an elite class of overseers and rulers!

Human Beings are NOT hive insects! suited only to drudgery under Tyrants wielding the governmental gun!

THAT is what those who preach, "social justice," "From each according to his ability, to each according to his need," "It takes a village to raise a child," etc, TRULY seek at the expense and enslavement of

YOU & ME!

To the contrary, a Nation whose Foundation is Liberty
is one in which each citizen is:

Free to Choose to Imagine and Create,

Or,
Free to Choose to Vegetate,
AND be held accountable!

In such a society:

We, the People, will look-out for those who truly need a hand from their Fellow-Citizens!

When government runs amok and takes from those who produce to give to those who WILL NOT produce, it creates an enslaved/dependent [Co-Dependent!], welfare society, such as the one we now have!

The Producers are not able to freely give to those who truly need assistance, because the Looters (the elite INDIVIDUALS controlling government, and other Parasites) continue to loot, suck-up and "redistribute"--as "THEY" see fit--all that We, the Producers, would otherwise have, to wisely CHOOSE to give! [7]
